Since the license file used the hostname many companies and IT personnel were dissatisfied with this grace period and asked how the license service could be made redundant.

Hi everyone,
I have got a question regarding Remote Desktop licensing in a XenApp 6 environment.
We have got one RDS license server with user based RDS CALs installed and everything is fine. But what will happen if my RDS license server fails? Citrix licensing provides a grace period of 30 days, that's no problem, but are users able to connect to XenApp if the RDS license server fails? Is it necessary to have a second RDS license server for redundancy to provide temporary licenses?
