It is a tool that provides customer analytics.
VeriScan Online’s cloud computing enables users to scan the ID and store the information remotely. With cloud-computing power, you can scan IDs from multiple locations and aggregate the data into one place.
VeriScan Online is utilized across many different industries for uses such as visitor management, age verification, customer data collection for event marketing, etc., sharing banned lists, alert lists, and generating sophisticated reports across all of your devices and locations. Our software comes equipped with a sophisticated online dashboard providing statistics and demographic information, including the number of new vs. returning visitors you have, the number of times they have visited your establishment, the geographical areas where your visitors are coming from, and more.

Just slide an ID (such as USA issued Driver's license or State ID) and you will see Name of the Person, DOB, Address, ID Expiration date, Age and assigned group (if any assigned).
Information from IDs will be saved to a cloud-based database, where detail reports are available in real-time. Captured data allows precise customer analysis by age groups, by ZIP code, by gender, time of visit, ability to create accurate mailing lists, upload to external databases and much more.

Perfect for my business

I work for a club where we scan upwards of 500 IDs & passports a week from many different states and countries. Our patrons also have to sign a waiver to enter. We used to have boxes of paper, but now that we’re electronic, it’s easy to maintaining and store.
Anytime I’ve called with a technical issue, they’ve been extremely responsive and helpful.

Great Solution

The app for the veriscan has worked great in our private club. We are able to use the scanner on small devices that the servers can take with them and never have take the Id’s from the customers sight.
I would highly recommend veriscan online to anyone who is looking for a reliable system. I really like that the information is stored offsite as well

Did you ever wonder what information your driver’s licence holds? With Scannr, you can quickly get all the information from a driver’s licence. It’s easy to use and integrate into your existing system!

Scannr app cannot detect fake driver’s licences.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Scannr uses the iPhone camera for scanning the barcode on the back of a US and Canadian driver’s license. By using BlinkID, a technology used in banking applications, information from the barcode is deciphered and turned into a human-readable form.
WHAT IS BOUNCER MODE?
The app offers the so-called bouncer mode – the ability to set the age limit and filter people accordingly. If the person is above the age limit, the scanned data is shown on the green background. If not, the background is red. It can also detect expired licenses.
IS THE DATA LOGGED?
Data logging can be switched on or off, depending on your preferences and/or state law. With logging turned on, Scannr can turn recorded data into informative charts. Charts can be further refined by selecting the start and end date.
WHICH DATA IS STORED?
Only aggregated gender and age data. Everything else is ignored. The scanned data never leaves your mobile phone, unless you configure Scannr to send data to a custom URL.
IS SCANNR FREE?
You can download the app for free and take a limited number of scans. If you find it useful enough, there’s an option of buying an unlimited-scans license for a time period.
HOW DO I RECOVER THE 'UNLIMITED SCANS FOREVER' LICENSE?
In older versions, there was an option of buying unlimited scans forever. If you bought such a license, you can recover it in the settings screen of the app after logging in.
HOW DO I INTEGRATE SCANNR INTO MY SYSTEM?
In settings, you can set Scannr up to send the scand data to a URL of your choosing so you can save the data for later if you have a need to do so.

Can't lie

It's an excellent addition to the other methods of ID identification. When you're not sure this helps a lot. Though some police have let ids go through that the app said 'Null Null' without scanning them so I believe in this app....

Could be a great LEO app

The app works quickly and accurately, but it neither displays ID/License numbers, nor does it capture thumbnails of the ID photos. Furthermore, there no options that allow for manual text entry (e.g. contact #s, location tagging, reference #s etc.), and practical exporting/printing features do not seem to be available. Add those features and you'll have created a must-have LEO companion app. I'd gladly pay $25 for unlimited scans with these features; until then a quick snapshot of the ID/License with ContextCam will have to suffice.
