Jan 25, 2012  Hello, I am currently running windows 7 64bit home premium on my computer. When I booted it up this morning i recieved this error: LogonUI.exe-Bad Image. LogonUI.exe - Bad Image C:Windowssystem32authui.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator the software vendor for support.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x64, AMD Athlon X2 Dual CoreProcessor 4000+ 2.10Ghz, 4GB DDR2 800 RAM, BFG Nvidia 8800GTS OC. I am getting an error message when I Restart, Shutdown and simply Turn On my computer. The message reads as follows: *LogonUI.exe - Bad Image* under that reads: *C:WindowsSystem32winbio.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error*. I just noticed this problem yesterday, but have had no success fixing it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Fnirish hi. have you tried to run sfc /scannow click start type cmd on the black icon at the top of start menu, r/click on it and from the drop down select run as administrator then in the command box that appears type as above sfc /scannow then click enter let it finnish then post back

Here I am, a Computer Technician and sfc /scannow should have been one of the first things that I tried. I am either getting old or just really tired. That should fix it, but I will let you know nonetheless. Thanks.
